Job description
There is an opening for an experienced Electrical and Electronic Engineering patent analyst with this leading firm of patent information analysts. The post involves retrieval of patents and technical literature, and assessment of their relevance for patentability, validity and freedom to operate. The successful candidate will work on a very broad range of subjects, e.g. sensors, optoelectronics, cellular telephony, MRI, power supplies, internet applications, computer software and hardware. Ideally, he or she would be able to handle mechanical engineering searches as well.

Person requirements
Candidates must be able to master search briefs on complex matters, be highly skilled in developing search strategies for patent and non-patent databases, and have the capacity for sustained accurate work to deadlines. French or German proficiency would be an advantage.

Degree requirements
Degree requirements are a First or Upper Second Class Degree, Masters or Ph.D in a relevant subject.
