All inquiries receive the personal attention and supervision of the head of the firm, Victor
Green, or the senior analyst, David Clarke, as regards choice of strategy, execution of the
search, quality control, and the presentation of results. Every effort is made to satisfy our
clients' precise requirements and deadlines.
In our patent searches, the traditional skills of sampling and classifying, followed by manual
searching in which all the documents on a file list are carefully scanned for relevance, are
combined with an up-to-date knowledge of online search techniques. Full use is made of the
resources of the British Library patent collections, and of the numerous intellectual property
websites through which abstracts and full specifications can be accessed. Registry number
and structure searching is carried out for chemical substance searches, and DNA and protein
sequence searches are used for biotechnology subjects when appropriate.
On the following pages we outline our approach to searching, discuss some of our services
in detail, and provide a profile of our staff. Please contact us if you require any further
information. Free estimates will be provided on request for any specific inquiry.
We offer a wide range of patent and technical literature searches, including;
